The Bilderberg Garden Hotel is located in the charmed museum district of the city, close to the Rijksmuseum and Museumplein, and is housed in a modern building dating back to the 1970's. Because of its excellent Mangerie de Kersentuin restaurant, the Garden considers itself a "culinary hotel," a concept that is reflected in the 124 guestrooms, which display salad-green, salmon-pink, cherry-red and grape-blue colour schemes. Variations in décor aside, they all feature Swedish woods, thick velvet comforters and plate glass windows. The split-level restaurant serves an international à la carte menu with Mediterranean influences and has large windows overlooking the street.
