The Prinsen Hotel is a very popular centrally located property built around 1870 by the famous Dutch Architect P.J.H. Cuijpers and composed of two private houses. Though small, the lobby is open plan with the breakfast room, which has recently been renovated and is attractively appointed with a marble floor, wicker chairs and wooden tables. Its floor to ceiling windows overlook the small garden. The 36 guestrooms vary in size due to the age of the building, but are tastefully decorated with pale blue and peach curtains, original paintings and potted plants. The en suite bathrooms are simple with white tiles, bath and sink. The bar area is also incorporated in the lobby and is very compact with a couple of bar stools.
