Housed in 24 restored 17th and 18th century canal houses, the Pulitzer Hotel is one of the best deluxe hotels in Amsterdam, suitable for even the most discerning traveller. The bathrooms are also in exceptional condition, with beige, chequered marble floors. Some have an arch over the bath and a crest on the wall above, thus amplifying the property’s regal atmosphere. The hotel’s Pulitzer restaurant, once an old apothecary, is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and serves international cuisine. During summer, guests can dine in the courtyard and take afternoon tea in the garden. After dinner they can join friends for a cocktail in Pulitzer's Bar or head to the cigar lounge.
