The Nadia Hotel is a basic but very good 2 star hotel boasting an excellent city centre location, slap bang in the heart of Amsterdam. Rooms in the hotel are fairly basic but spotless and adequate for a short stay. The Nadia hotel doesn't have any lifts so not ideal for those with mobility difficulties or the faint hearted.
The Nadia Hotel is a family-run property housed in a red brick 19th century building, the ground floor of which is occupied by a shopping arcade. The lobby is accessible via steep stairs. The 42 guestrooms are simply decorated with pale walls and cheerful fabrics. All are in very good condition for this category of hotel, as are the en suite bathrooms. The hotel offers a rich Continental buffet every morning in the bright, welcoming breakfast room, which is located on the first floor and has a small balcony overlooking Amsterdam and the canal. The lounge is open all day, so guests can make themselves tea and coffee and help themselves to biscuits. The hotel is constructed of four floors but does not have a lift/elevator it is not suitable for guests with restricted mobility.
***The hotel are carrying out façade works, scaffolding will be in place whilst the works take place until the end of October 2008.***
