Our Review

The Avenue Hotel is housed in several inter-linked historical buildings, one of which used to be the warehouse of the Dutch East India Company. The lobby is long and narrow with limited seating and leads to a cosy bar, which is only open in the late afternoon and evenings. The 79 small guestrooms are decorated in a bright, cheerful contemporary style employing soothing shades of either pink or apple green.

we were far too hot in the room... Window open all night made little difference... bathroom which was functional but dated ... very clean ... clean towels every morning... Room very small for 2 people.... small rooms but its amsterdam...
