The NH Tropen Hotel is housed in a rather uninspiring 12-storey concrete tower with large car park at front. The medium sized lobby is brightly decorated and leads to an attractive bar area. Also medium sized, the 80 guestrooms vary in décor. Some feature pastel coloured carpets and contrasting furnishings in bright patterns, while others feature wood floors and a beige and burgundy colour scheme. All, however, are well maintained, as are the en suite bathrooms. The hotel offers a rich Continental buffet every morning in the bright, spacious breakfast room, which is located on the ground floor.
