The hotel is located in the heart of Amsterdam, near to the Rijks Museum, overlooking the Lido and the casino complex. It is also close to well-known Leidseplein, with its terraced restaurants, and is within walking distance of all major tourist attractions.

The Park Hotel is housed in an 18th-century building, topped by a picturesque pepper-pot tower. Steps lead up to the large lobby, which also features a roomy wood-panelled lounge with Old Masters on walls. The 181 guestrooms vary in size, from small to medium, due to the age of the building. Comfortably appointed in bright, cheerful fabrics and comfortable furniture, they are well maintained, as are the en suite bathrooms. The restaurant is situated towards the rear of the hotel. Traditional and atmospheric, with dark wood beams and a red colour scheme, it can seat a large number of diners. The cuisine is varied, the prices are reasonable and there is also an entrance on the street. The hotel offers a rich Continental buffet every morning in the bright, welcoming breakfast room, which is located on the ground floor and features a open fire. There is also a cosy bar, with full-length windows offering good views of the city.
